Perfect timing

After weeks of constant thirties we got our season breaker yesterday with a lovely cool afternoon of showers. Everything is damp now after a solid soaking. My tanks needed it too as we were very low in our holdings.

So let the work begin. I have a few fallow beds that have been waiting for this time.

Autumn plan:

Bed 1: Currently eggplant & zuccini. Leave as is.

Bed 2: Lettuce - mostly going to seed. Finish eating and turn in.

Bed 3: Carrots. Still growing.

Bed 4: Cucumber. Still growing [better planting next time Greg].

Bed 5: Fallow after onions. Plant beans.

Bed 6: Resting after failed sweetcorn crop. Decide on broc or more legumes.

Bed 7: Carrots. Plant more.

Bed 8: Same as bed 6. [Planted Broc 7/3].

Bed 9: Tomatoes about to finish. Maybe this could be a mega broc crop. [Planted Mini Caulies 7/3].
